ESTIMATED FUNDING
A negative sign represents a payment; a positive sign represents a receipt. APR is the estimated annual percentage rate of funding: it assumes 365 days at the same rate and interval, without reinvestment. It is not a guaranteed return or the trade’s total result.

How it is calculated
Funding per interval = position value × funding rate. With a 1,000 USD position and a 0.01% rate, funding is 0.10 USD per interval: with a positive rate, the Long pays and the Short receives. A negative rate reverses this.
Funding applies if you hold the position at the contract’s stated settlement time. That is why this calculator counts complete receipts and payments: it does not prorate a payment across hours.
APR means Annual Percentage Rate: annual percentage rate. It is calculated as funding rate (%) × (24 ÷ interval hours) × 365. For example, 0.01% every 8 hours equals 10.95% annually on position value: negative if you pay it and positive if you receive it. If you enter margin and leverage, you will also see APR on that initial margin.
Leverage allows more exposure with the same margin. For the same position, the funding amount is unchanged even if leverage changes.
In inverse Coin-M, position value in the settlement currency is obtained by dividing the total USD notional by the Mark Price. For example: 1,000 USD ÷ 100,000 USD per BTC = 0.01 BTC. At 0.01% funding, that is 0.000001 BTC per interval.
Enter the value in the selected currency or choose “USD notional (inverse Coin-M)” to convert it. If you start from the number of contracts, first multiply it by each contract’s USD value. The margin-based estimate assumes initial margin × leverage, without other adjustments. For an open position, use its current value. The rate, interval, and position value may change. Excludes opening/closing fees, price changes, and other costs.
