Visualize where grid levels would sit and compare arithmetic and geometric spacing, including fees.

Arithmetic
Equal distance in USD between levels.
Net profit per cycle
Geometric
Equal percentage between levels.
Net profit per cycle
Green: buying zone. Red: selling zone. The chart shows theoretical levels: a real bot may reserve a level and adjust orders according to its rules.

This simulator shows only the net profit per cycle (Grid Profit). It does not calculate how many cycles are executed or the bot’s total profit or loss.
To estimate total profit or loss and final capital, use Spot Grid Backtesting. It includes grid trades and the value of coins that remain unsold.

We carry over your range, grids, mode and fee. In the backtest, you choose the coin, total capital and dates. Results are estimates and do not guarantee future returns.
What the result means
In arithmetic, the price difference is fixed. For example: 80,000, 82,000 and 84,000 USD. The percentage profit per cycle decreases as the level rises.
In geometric, the percentage stays the same. At 1%: 100, 101 and 102.01 USD. The gap in USD is smaller at lower levels and larger at higher levels. With the same fee rate, the net percentage per cycle also stays constant.
The calculation sets aside the buy fee within the amount entered, buys the corresponding quantity and deducts the fee when selling at the next level. Fees are expressed in USD.
Profit from one cycle is not the return on all your capital or a daily or monthly forecast. The number of trades that will execute is not estimated. A Spot grid can generate profitable cycles and still lose value if the asset falls.
